Physiotherapy that listens.

I’m Bahar Özer. At my office in Kağıthane, I work across rehabilitation, manual therapy, lymphoedema therapy and clinical Pilates, with a personalised plan for each client.

  • Personalised sessions with a physiotherapist
  • Mon–Fri 09:00–21:00 · Sat 10:00–14:00
  • Premier Kampüs, Kağıthane

I listen first, then we plan together.

The same diagnosis rarely unfolds the same way in two people, so every plan begins with getting to know you and your daily life.

  • Listen and assess

I listen to your concerns, history and goals, then take a detailed look at your posture, range of motion and muscle balance.

  • A plan made for you

I take the assessment findings and, if you have a health condition, your doctor’s diagnosis and recommendations into account to choose the techniques and exercises that suit you.

  • Progress together

I follow how you feel from session to session and adjust the programme to your body’s response, with home exercises that carry the work forward.

Bahar Özer Specialist Physiotherapist

From Trabzon to Istanbul, with the same care.

Before moving to Istanbul, I worked in Trabzon. The trust I built with my clients there still shapes the way I practise today.

In 2026 I moved to Istanbul and opened my own office at Premier Kampüs in Kağıthane. I am with you at every step, from the first assessment to your exercise programme.

Pilates, guided by a physiotherapist.

Clinical Pilates is an exercise programme that starts with an assessment and is built around you. On the reformer, we work with movements chosen for your posture, any history of pain or injury, and your goals.

  • A personal programme that starts with an assessment
  • Posture, core strength, balance and flexibility
  • Options suited to pregnancy and the postnatal period

During pregnancy, I adapt each movement to your stage and to how you feel on the day. Pregnancy Pilates always starts with your obstetrician’s approval.

From request to programme, in four steps.

  1. Leave a request

Fill in the short form or send a WhatsApp message. A few basic details are all it takes.

  2. I call you

Once your request arrives, I call you to talk briefly about your needs and find a day and time that suit you.

  3. First assessment

At your first session I listen to your concerns and assess how you move and stand. Feel free to bring any reports or scans.

  4. Your programme

We set goals together and build your session plan, along with exercises to do at home.

Frequently asked questions

If your question isn’t here, feel free to call or send a WhatsApp message.

See all questions
  • What happens at the first session?

The first meeting is an assessment. I start by listening: how your symptoms began, how they affect your daily life, your medical history and what you hope to achieve. Then I carry out tests suited to you, looking at posture, range of movement, muscle strength and balance.

With this information we set goals together and plan a programme tailored to you. Bringing any doctor’s reports, discharge summaries, MRI or X-ray results makes the assessment easier.

  • How many sessions will I need, and how long is a session?

The answer varies from person to person. The number and length of sessions depend on your symptoms, how long you have had them, any surgery you have had, your general health and your goals.

After the first assessment I suggest a plan tailored to you, and we talk openly about how the process is likely to unfold. We review your progress together at regular intervals and adjust the plan whenever needed.

  • How is clinical Pilates different from regular Pilates?

Clinical Pilates is an approach in which a physiotherapist adapts Pilates principles to a person’s health needs. Before we begin, I assess your posture, the quality of your movement and any pain or relevant medical history.

Exercises are chosen from this assessment rather than a set routine, and adapted to situations such as back or neck pain, postural problems, recovery after surgery or pregnancy. I follow your movement closely throughout each session and adjust the programme to your needs.
